摘要 This paper provides a synthetical analysis for the improvement of contact fatigue by ion implantation. Some items, such as the Increase in surface mlcrohardness, the change in residual stress and its distribution, the change in height and shape parameters of surface roughness as well as the change in auto correlation function and power spectrum reflecting the mathematic statistical characteristics of surface topography are Indicated.
