Object - Oriented Software Engineering-A new Technology for the Management of Telecommunication Networks

电信网管将走TMN技术路线,TMN重要的技术基础之一是面向对象的软件工程技术。文章简介了传统软件工程的不足,指出了面向对象软件工程技术的优越性,重点从技术和管理两方面系统分析了OOSE的最新进展:统一建模语言UML和瑞理统一过程RUP。最后,对OOSE在电信网管中的应用进行了探讨。

The management of telecommunication networks in the future will be based on telecommunication management network (TMN). One of the most important technology foundations of TMN is Object - Oriented Software Engineering (OOSE) . The paper gives a detail introduction of the current development of OOSE, including the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and the Rational Unified Process(RUP) .The possible application of OOSE in the management of the telecommunication networks is also analyzed.
