The soluble poly(2-methoxy-5-decyloxy)-p-phenylene vinylene(PMODOPV)is synthesized through dehydrochlorination reaction.The electroluminescent devices are fabricated with PMODOPV as light-emitting layer. The luminescent properties of the devices are investigated which shows that the turn-on voltage of the device is 5V with luminescent wavelength of 560 nm.
