生产力标准是判断一切工作是非得失的根本标准。长期以来，一些人总是把生产力标准等同于物的标准，给实际工作造成一定的负面影响。生产力标准包含物与人的双重内涵，生产力的发展是物的积累与人的进步的双线进程。人是生产力发展的主体，人是生产力发展的动力，人是生产力发展的目的。社会主义的本质要求社会主义生产力发展必然是物与人的协调发展。

The criterion of productivity is the fundamental principle to judge the rights and wrongs of all work. But for a long time,because of our misunderstanding, we alway regard the criterion of productivity as that of material which causes certain negative effects on the practical work. The criterion of productivity includes the elements of material and human being. Its development includes not only the accumulation of material but also the development of human being. Human being is the subject, the motive force and the goal of the development of productivity. The socialist essence demands that the development of the socialist productivity be the coordinated one of material and human being. Sticking to the criterion of productivity, we should stick to the harmony of material and human being.
