The Library Orientated Towards Knowledge Economy——Contemporary information Center

面对知识经济的到来 ,作为知识、信息收藏与传播机构的图书馆 ,应成为现代信息中心。为此 ,图书馆除了地区、格局上作大的调整之外 ,在管理体制与办馆模式上 ,在收藏对象与内容上 ,在服务的手段与方式上 ,在基础业务的建设上 ,在图书馆员自身的素质的提高强化上 ,均必须进行相应的调整。

Facing the coming of knowledge econonmy,the library which acts as the organization collecting and distributing knowledge and information,should become the contemporary information center.For this purpose,besides the fact that the library should make big adjustment in geological distribution,it should also carry out corresponding adjustment on management system and ways of running the library,on the objects of service,on the construction of fundamental service,and on the build-up of the quality of librarians.
