一些重要的古代建筑，随着年代的久远早已绝迹或仅有废墟一片。后代研究古代建筑的人，也只有在历史的记载中，文学艺术作品中，寻找并想象它们本来的面目。唐代诗人杜牧的《阿房宫赋》，清代著名的书画专家袁江的《阿房宫图轴》为我们研究秦代建筑形象提供了极其珍贵的历史资料。

With the passing of time, some important ancient buildings haoe either become extinct or been laid in ruins , engaged in the research of ancient buildings, can not seek and inqaine their original true feafures in the historical records or in the literary and artistic works.The Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu's poem ‘Afan Palace’ and Qing Dynasty famous painter Yuan Jiang's painfing ‘The Design of Afan Palace has’ presented us with very valuable historical information in our sfudy of the architecture style in the Qing Dynasty.
