清末潮汕地区商业组织初探

Organizations of the commercial circles at Chaozhou-Shantou Area in Guangdong Province during the end of the Qing Dynasty

潮人以善于经商而闻名遐迩，而学术界对此的研究却并未十分重视，本文作者有见于此，以大量翔实的资料探讨了清末潮汕地区商会的起源和演变状况，并对其原因、特点和主要领导人物作了详细阐述，填补了当前潮学研究的空白。

The Chaozhoulese have been renowned far and wide for commercially - mindedness, butthere seems to have had little research work done by the academic circles. In view of this, this paper,based on full and accurate source materials, makes an investigation into the origin and evolution of thechambers of commerce at Chaozhou-Shantou Area during the end of the Qing Dynasty, with detailed account on their causes and especially on the important leaders thereof, thus filling a gap in the studies onChaozhou-Shantou culture.
