蒙古族有得天独厚的体育优势。建国以来，蒙古族体育健儿充分发挥其优势，在与传统体育项目相近的现代竞技体育项目上取得了举世瞩目的成绩。他们的成绩证明了我国社会主义民族政策的正确，也为民族传统体育与现代竞技体育的“接轨”
The Mongols enjoy exceptional advantages of being good at sports. Sincethe founding of the People's Republic of China, the Mongolian atheletes , by giving full play to their advantages, have won remarkable achievements in modern competitive sports items that are close to traditional sports, which proves that China's policies towards national minorities are correct and which provides us with rich experience in connecting national traditional sports to modern competative sports.
