Abstract The author briefly tells us what he saw and heard duing his tour of Fa Men Temple in the rain in the summer of 1998.Associated with historical facts which were related to the temple,the author also recounts to us the story of its construction and ruin again and again since West Wei dynasty,and expresses his thoughts.
