Ｉｎｔｒａｎｅｔ是在传统企业网基础之上发展起来的一种新型的企业网，它为企业的信息管理系统提供了一种新的网络环境。运行于Ｉｎｔｒａｎｅｔ网上的财务软件就是要运用通信技术、网络技术、计算机技术，实现对企业财务、资产及其相关数据的收集、传送、加工、处理、存储和管理。它不是一般意义上的财务电算化软件，而是集成管理型的财务软件。因此，未来的财务软件的发展应该向更简便，更高效。
Intranet—a new type of enterprise network developed from the traditional enterprise network, provides a fresh network situation for the informational administration system. The financial software in Intranet aims at collecting, transmitting, processing, disposing, storing and governing the financial affairs, capital and the relevant data of the enterprise by way of using the technique of communication, network and computer. The future development of the financial software should advance towards the goal of being more concise, more effective and more secure.
