Abstract Wang Xuance,during the time of the 17th year of Zhenguan Era (643) to the first year of Longshuo Era of the Tang Dynasty,wan sent three times on diplomatic missions to countries such as Tianzhu (ancient name for India) and Nepal,ete.He wrote some books,one of them entitled “The Notes of a Trip to Central Tianzhu”.This article gives an account of the routes Wang Xuance took on performing his three missions,of his experiences of those trips,and of economic and cultural exchanges between the Tang Dynasty and countries of Tianzhu and Nepal,etc.
