Current Studies and Problems on Picocells for WLANs

文章综述了目前无线局域网(WLAN)中微微蜂窝的研究现状,其中包括微微蜂窝结构、微微蜂窝的越区切换协议和研究中所存在的问题,同时给出了进一步研究的思路和方向。

This paper presents the overview of current studies on picocell for wireless LAN, including their architectures, handover protocols, and some problems which can not be solved at present. Furthemore, some ideas to promote the future research on the picocell wireless LANs are also proposed.
