摘要 丹顶鹤的头骨薄而轻,内有许多蜂窝状小孔,可减轻头骨重量.脊柱的颈椎15个,胸椎9个,最后胸椎、腰椎、荐椎和前几个尾椎愈合成腰荐骨,后5个尾椎独立存在.龙骨突发达,呈垂直的板状,供发达的胸肌附着.后肢骨相当发达,具有支持体重、行走和栖息等作用. The skull of red-crowned crane is slight. There are so much honeycolb-like holes in the skull so that the weight of it is very light. In the spinal column, there are 15 cervical verbebras and 9 thoracic vertebras. The last thoracic vertebra, lumbar vertebra, butterfly vertebra and several coccygeal vertebra in the first combined each other, become one big skeleton. The last 5 coccygeal vertebras exist inde-pendenfly. There are big keel processus in the breastbone, looks like board vertical with body. It can stick to the well-developed breast muscle. The skeleton of hind legs is rather developed. It can support the body weight and has the achion of walking and resting.
