T 49 Catalyst of High Nonene Selectivity for Oligomerization of Propylene

摘要 T49CatalystofHighNoneneSelectivityforOligomerizationofPropyleneHuangErfeng,ChenYongfu,ZhuZhirong(ShanghaiResearchInstituteof... T 49 catalyst is used for propylene oligomerization to produce nonene and by product dodecylene. The catalyst is prepared by reaction of diatomite and boric acid with polyphosphoric acid. The distribution of acid strength for T 49 and T 34 (commercial catalyst ) shows that T 49 has higher acid strength than T 34. The tests of T 49 and T 34 showed that T 49 was of higher selectivity of nonene than T 34. The specified process conditions and results of T 49 catalyst in propylene oligomerization are: 4.0~5.0 MPa, LHSV 2.0 h 1 , 180~205℃, conversion per pass 76~78%, total conversion >95%, nonene selectivity 68%, selectivity of nonene plus dodecylene>80%, catalyst efficiency >712 (Feed/ cat.). It is showed that T 49 catalyst had a brilliant prospect in commercialization.
