为了阐明吲哚和异吲哚的芳香性及稳定性原因，按照拓扑共振能（TRE）概念计算了这两类化合物的共振能和环共振能，并且用拓扑电荷稳定（TCS）规则对它们的稳定性作出了解释．

In order to clarify the origin of the stability and aromaticity of indole and isoindoles,resonance energy and circuit resonance energy were calculated by means of topological resonance energy (TRE). The stability of these compounds were explained by means of topological charge stabilization (TCS) rule.
