关于农村思想道德建设的思考

ON THE MORAL CONSTRUCTION IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

社会主义精神文明建设的核心是人的素质建设，农民的思想道德建设在人的素质建设中占有重要地位，对我国社会主义现代化建设具有特殊意义，在由计划经济向市场经济转轨过程中，农村物质文明得到了高度发展。与此同时，农村思想道德建设相对滞后，与农村的经济发展不相适应，农村思想道德建设中存在的问题既有主观原因，也有客观原因，解决这些问题必须从理论上澄清是非，在实践中激浊扬清。

The core of constructing the socialist spiritual civilisation is to enhance man's quality. The moral construction of farmers plays a very important rule in enhancing man' s quality and realizing socialist modernization. During the transition from. planning economy to market economy, the spiritual civilization has been developing dramatically. However, the moral construction in these areas has lagged behind and it is not incompatible with rural economic develolpment. These problems are caused both subjectively and objectively. ln theory, rights and wrongs must be distinguished: in practice, vice must be eliminated and virtue should be exalted. By so doing ,they can be solved. The farmers. should be guided to choose the correct values compatible with socialist market economy.
