On the Change of Christian Notion in the Western Literature

基督教与西方文学的联姻，一方面是它需要文学来让人们更好地理解它的“真理”，另一方面是基督教在其发展过程中已经超出了狭隘的宗教意义，形成了一种对西方人的文化生活方式、价值观念和伦理原则，产生巨大影响的文化现象。自中世纪以来，西方文学在其发展中走过了一条对基督教顶礼膜拜、反思与反叛。

Abstract For one thing, it wants to make people have better ideas about its “truth” by way of literature.For another, it has already gone beyond its narrow religious sense in its development and resulted as a cultural phenomenon that has a great effect upon the Westerner's cultural life, values and ethics. Since the Middle Ages, the Western literature has gone through a way in which Christianity is paid homage at first, then reflected and rebelled and finally returned and transcended.
