可知? 重庆市区的长江小三峡

重庆长江小三峡系指重庆境内的猫儿峡、铜锣峡峡及明月峡,古称巴县三峡。猫儿峡从重庆江津城乘船东下,过路瑛、至铜罐释,由青石尾便驶人巍峨的猫儿峡。长江北岸普陀岩,峭壁悬空,直插云端。其间,钟乳倒悬,怪树危立,抬头仰望,目眩帽飞,真是铁峡锁江,大江一束,气象万千。据明代曹学全(蜀中名胜记》记载,《巴中记》云:《江州县有峰穷峡》。故猫儿峡,古称峰穷峡,亦称大茅峡。

The Yangtse River runs through Sichuan basin, many sections are between mountains, thus forming a large number of gorges. Apart from the famous Yangtse River Three Gorges, there is in Chongqing a lesser Three Gorges. It is made up of Maoerxia Gorge, Tongluoxia Gorge and Mingyuexia Gorge. Not as well-known as the Three Gorges though, this lesser one also attracted the great poets Wang Wei and Li Bo in Tang Dynasty, Scholar Feng Shixing in Song Dynasty and Scholar Cao Xuequan. They wrote immortal poems in praise of lesser Three Gorges.
