美国在当今世界经济中，无论综合国力，还是经济实力都是世界头号强国．尚无明显衰退迹象。二战后，美国国家垄断资本主义有新的发展．国家对经济干预作用在加强，宏观调控能力有所提高，成为美国经济持续低速发展的重要推动力。美国国家垄断资本主义的表现形式或宏观调控手段多样，交叉运用。其中．利用财政金融政策是美国最主要、最经常使用的宏观调控经济手段。其经验值得我们批判地借鉴。

The United States is the No. one big power in today's world either in respect of its united national strength or its economic strength, which has hitherto shown no evident signs of declining. Since World War 11, there has been further development in its state monopoly capitalism, its state intervetion of economy being strengthened and its macro controll of economy raised, which has been an important driving force of the slow and steady delopment of American economy.
