Effects of Trace Zinc on Toughening and Strengthening of Steels

摘要 Impact bend and static tensile comparison tests are carried out between zinc-containing steels and those without.Marked variation of each index is sophisticatedly observed.The results indicate that trace zinc can remarkably strengthen toughening and strengthening of cast and forged steel through quenching,tempering or air hardening.
