摘要 A composite waveguide of 4-butoxycarbonylmethylurethane polydiacetylene has been fabricated. By measuring the change with optical intensity in the coupling angle between input laser beam and a planar waveguide mode in the structure, we estimated that the intensity-dependent index of refraction (n2) approximately equals -1.9×10-7 (MW/cm2)-1.
