摘要
本文从科技词表的角度统计了该表中日和M开头的单词在大纲词表中相应单词中所占的比例;然后又讨论了现行两份大学英语教学大纲的要求以及大纲词表的特征。旨在说明科技词表对大纲词表的影响并非如想象的那样大,并且科技词表对大纲词表的影响应尽量加以控制,特别是在大学英语教学的基础阶段。
his article pays particular attention to how much the Wordlist for Science and Technology affects the two Wordlists of College English Syllabus based on statistics of words beginning with the letters B and M.Results show that the influence of the former apon the latter is not as much as would be expected.Also,the article argues that the influence should be restricted to a certain degree especially during the beginning stage of college English teaching.
