The blood letting and cupping treatment can treat sciatica. The authors treated 106cases, of whom 76 cases were cured (71. 7%), 22 were improved (20.7%) and 8 didn’t show ef-fect (7. 6% ). The total effective rate is 92. 4%. This therapy has advantages of shorter course,less suffering, simple to practise, quick effect and less expense. It is a unique therapy and easy tobe popularized.
