Xiao Shuming, wife of former Lugu Lake Regional Lord(administrative chief), has lived a legendary life. Recently in July, 1996 Xiao Shuming, under the patronage of Sichuan Qi Ri Toothpaste Company, paid a visit back to her hometown of Chengdu after 57 years she had departed. Xiao Shuming was warrmly received by her folks and the govemment. She was deeply impressed by the elevators and other novelties. Chengdu folks who met her all concluded that Xiao still thinks and talks reasonably.
