宜宾旧州工业开发区为省级开发区,1994年10月在全省58个国家级和省级开发区中,被评为“良好开发区”。工业开发区位于岷江北岸旧州坝,距宜宾市区仅2公里,临近港口、火车站、机场,交通极为便利。工业开发区规划4平方公里,以发展食品、机械、电子、新型建材、农副土特产加工和高新科技项目为主,同时对商贸、旅游等项目进行开发。为加快开发区建设,宜宾市委、市府制定了从土地征用、引进资金到地方费、税的一系列优惠政策。为使投资建设单位办理手续快速、简捷,开发区实行“
s a grade A development zone at provincial level, the Yibin Jiuzhou Industrial Park is located in Jiuzhouba on the northern bank of Minjiang river and merely 2 km from the downtown area of Yibin City. Convenient transportation facilities in air, road and waterway, series of favourable policies as well as efficient services make it an ideal place for investments. With a planned area of 4 square km, the park has been offering sufficient water, gas and electricity supply to meet the demand of production and living since its very beginning in 1992.Up to now, 42 contracts have been signed with investors both from home and abroad, of which 7 projets have been completed and put into operation.
