摘要
Description of the ContextThe following‘task-as-workplan’is designed for a group of 24 returned district college teachers inCentral China Normal University.The trainees have demonstrated a fairly high educational andlinguistic background,yet still wish to bridge the gap in their knowledge and learn new EFL teachingapproaches through the present one-year Sino-British further training programme.They have alsorealised that their traditional teaching and learning experience hinders their students’ development ofcommunicative competence.Thus,they also wish to improve their own linguistic and communicativecompetence so as to become more competent EFL users and more qualified ELT teachers.
