摘要
IntroductionBlackboard drawings can be a source of motivation for many teaching and learning activities in theclassroom.Some middle school teachers have already recognised the usefulness of simple drawings intheir teaching,made use of them and achieved very satisfactory results.Blackboard drawings have three main advantages in English language teaching.They are convenient;they are easy for both teachers and students to sketch;they make the teaching more effective,communicative and interesting.In this paper we will look at these three advantages of blackboarddrawings in more detail,and suggest some possible ways of applying them to teaching.
