摘要
A numerical model for solving the problems of water and contaminant transportation and transformation in variably saturated porous media was presented, which uses the finite-difference approximation to solve the advection-dispersion equation, and in which the spatial derivatives in the flow equation are approximated by central difference written about grid-block boundaries, and the time derivatives are approximated by a fully implicit backward scheme. The numerical modelling of water and contaminants mixing was used to simulate the water and contaminant movements in the unsaturated soils. The results from numerical simulations were compared with the data from tests with good agreement.
