The experimental and theoretical model of studying the displacement oscillation of collapsible tube were set up. The governing equations of displacement oscillation was solved by using perturbation theory. A criterion was presented for the prediction on a new type oscillation. Three different regions of flow state were shown. The influence of the flow velocity and wall viscosity on these regions was discussed finally.
