邓代维,这位普普通通的共产党员,用自己的心血筑就他所在企业——甘肃化工机械厂走向辉煌成功之路!撑起了该厂兴旺发达、充满希望的脊梁。邓代维是1983年调任该厂厂长的。当时,企业已连续亏损多年,濒临破产倒闭。走马上任后,他仔细分析各种因素,认为:"企业的亏损,表现在物质上,实质上是职工感情的亏损,精神的亏损,要想扭亏为盈,必须从感情投资入手,振奋精神着眼。"于是,他首先解决职工生活上的后顾之忧。为了使企业尽快摆脱困境,他住在办公室,到车间与职工一起干活。职工们看到领导这样干,心热了,气顺了,干劲也足了。邓代维上任的当年,该厂即一举扭亏为盈,超额完成了上级下达的生产任务。
Gansu Chemical Industry Machinery Works is a state-owned comprehensive medium-sized enterprise integrating scien- tific research and development,manufactru- ing,industry,trading and commercial af- fairs.Now it has a staff of more than 1,100 and fixed assets of 18 million yuan,and in- cludes 15 branch plants,1 motor team,4 departments for development,research and design,5 operation and trading corpora- tions,18 functional sections offices.It is mainly engaged in the production of chemi- cals,plastics and metallurgical products. From 1983 to 1993,the output value and tax-profit doubled twice.Under the leader- ship of Director Deng Daiwei,the works was awarded'Gansu Province Advanced Enter- prise'and won more than 180 honourable titles.
