本文筒略地介绍了钢管砼新理论——统一理论——的基本内容.统一理论的提出结束了依靠试验曲线宏观地了解钢管砼构件的工作性能,改变了传统的研究方法和传统的设计方法,使这一结构的研究和发展步入了新阶段.

Abstract In this paper, the basic contents of the new theory for CFST -the United Theory, is introduced briefly. The suggestion of United Theory ended the stage of understand the behaviours of CFST members simply depended on the tests. The occurrence of United Theory has changed thoroughly the traditional research method and traditional design method of CFST members. It makes the research and development of this structure to go into a new stage.
