In this paper,the writer first describes the psychological and emotional factorswhich affect students listening ability of college English and then points out after analysing them both in theory and in practice:In order to improve the teaching quality of listening,students psychological obstacles must be overcomed with the help of their teachers.At the end of the paper,combining with his teaching practice,the writer dicusses the method of abandoning disadvantageous psychological factors in the teaching of listening.
