In this paper,the writers first describe briefly the widely-used geneva mechanism and point out the problems and limitations in the process of application.Then,they introduce the priciple and characteristic of a genera mechanism combined by palnet gear systen,and finally they present its calculation formula which makes it easy to apply the mechanism to engineering.
