A new machine learning based framework of intelligent decision support system(IDSS) is discussed based on machine learning theory and methods, in which predicate calculus within production systems is adopted as representation system and machine learning based method is used to acquire and modify model manipulation knowledge. As the model manipulation experience is accumulated through its self-learning mechanism, the efficacy of the whole system is progressively improved.
