Different newspapers have different features and styles, which are mainly defined by thesort the paper belongs to. A and B are two treatments of the same event (Southhall tragedyin England) by two different newspapers——The Daily Telegraph and The daily Mirror, theformer being a quality paper in support of the Conservative Party and the latter a popular oneon the side of the Laber Party. There are both similarities and differences in style betweenthe two news reports.
