本文从历史唯物主义关于“社会存在决定社会意识”的原理出发,通过对社会思潮复杂性的分析,阐明在新时期进行精神文明建设时,要注意区分不同性质、不同特点的社会思潮,对症下药、采取适当的方法解决群众的各种思想问题,克服各种错误思潮。

This thesis starts from the principle of historical materialism about 'Social being determines social conscionsness' and by analyses the complicatedness of all kinds of trends of thought,shows that when constructing cutura and ideo logical progress in a new period, we shoud pay at tention to celling the social trends of tho(?)ght with dilfferent quality and characteristics, then suit remedy to the case to solve all kinds of questions of the masses' thonghts and correct all kinds of wrong trends of thought
