From 1967 to January 1994,20 cases of insulinoma were treated in our hospital.All lesions were pathologically confirmed as adenoma.19 cases suffered solitary adenoma,and one wasmultiple.10 tumors localized in the head of pancreas,7 in the body and 4 in the tail. The maximalmass was 3cm×3cm×2cm and the minimal was only 1cm×0.5cm×0.5cm.All patients underwentoperation except one autopsy.They all were followed up from 6 months to 18 years postoperatively.Symptoms of hypoglycemia were rectified without recurrence.
