本组资料为１９８４～１９９３十年间在广州地区所得。本组被遗弃儿童有如下特点：女性比重高于男性，婴儿高于儿童；病残儿童远远高于健康儿童（分别为５９．７％；６１．１％；８７．１％）。与围产期相关疾病比重高（６４．８％）；智能损害者（包括先天愚型、智能低下、脑性瘫痪、头小畸型等）占６２．％；先天性疾病与围产期相关的疾病占８６．３％。

he study information came frorn Guangzhouarea during ten years from 1984 to 1993. The aban-donM children had the following characteristics,the female (59. 7%) were more than the male , thebabies (61. 1%) were more than the children;thesick and disabled children (87.1%) were far morethan the healthy children. The proportion of thediseases related to the perinatal period was high(64. 8%) , of the demage of intelligence was 62. 0%(including mongolian idiocy, feeblemindedness,cerebral palsy, mocrocephaly), of the congenitaldiseases related to the perinatal period was 86-3%.
