川端文学极有个性，别具一格，形成日本的“新感觉派”。川端文学主要是西方现代派和日本传统手法结合的产物，也是惮宗美学的体现，是东方因素与本土因素的融化。

With its unique characteristic, Chuan Duan literature forms Japanese' New Sensualism'. It is a combined fruit of both western Modernism and Japanese traditional technics. It is also the reflection of Chan which blends the eastern elements with the local ones.
