Research on Application of Alcohol Fuels to Diesel Engine

本文介绍了甲醇、乙醇及其含水燃料在压燃式发动机上的应用。研究结果表明:通过改质方式可在压燃式发动机上使用甲醇、乙醇及其含水燃料,发动机的动力性指标无明显变化,总燃料消耗率(按能量比计)约降低10％,排气烟降低20％左右。

The technological research for applying methanol, alcohol and water-bearingalcoholic fuels on diesel engines is dealt with in this paper, the results of which suggest that dissolved melhanol, alcohol and water-bearing alcoholic fuels could be substutions for d.iesel. fuels in diesei engines and the power performance of the engines is roughly the same as the original engine and total fuel consumption decrease by 10% with exhaust soot density lowed by 20%.
