本文作者较深入地分析了国内外DTP的发展过程,从技术发展与市场需求角度对DTP技术中有关系统结构、排版方法、页面描述语言、界面操作系统、彩色处理系统以及汉字系统环境等方面进行了评价,得出如下结论:1、中国DTP技术在上述几个方面处于国际领先地位;2、要坚持“洋为中用”的原则,要积极引进国外先进技术,同时要积极发展中国特色(如汉字、民族文化等)的DTP技术.作者深信通过我国从事DTP技术研究的专家和工程师们的努力,我国的DTP技术发展前途无量.

This paper makes a thorough analysis about the process of DTP development both in China and in other countries. Form the angel of technology development and market needing, through the evaluation about many fields of DTP such as: System Construction, Page Layout System, Page Description Language (PDL), User Inteface, Color System and Chinese Font Support System, etc. the paper arrives at the conclusion as the follows: 1. The DTP technology of China be in leading position in the world. 2. We should develop the DTP technology with Chinese features (such as Chinese Font Support System, National culture, etc.) as wess as import the advanced foreign technology, according to the principle of 'make foreign things serve China'. It is believable that there will be a promsing future of DTP technology development, based on the great efforts of Chinese experts and engineers of DTP.
