摘要
A new wear-resistant austenite-bainite medium Mn steel with nodular carbide can be obtained by modifying with La compound. The result shows that the equiaxed crystals are refined, and their quantity is increased after the treatment. The nodular carbide in fact is eutectic of austenite and (Fe . Mn)3 C is formed during solidification between austenitic dendrites. When the eutectic grows, the small melting pools between equiaxed crystals limit it's growing. Lanthanum species, are absorbed on eutectic growth interface, controlling eutectic growing.
