1990年,中央宣布开发上海浦东,以浦东新区的高速发展带动整个上海"三年大变样"。一时间,浦东成为举世瞩目的焦点。5年过去了,浦东以其崭新的姿态矗立在世人面前,正当人们纷纷惊叹"浦东速度"、"浦东现象"时,你是否注意到,创造这一个个浦东奇迹的建设大军中,有一家响当当的大企业,那就是上海市浦东新区建设总公司。且看上海浦东新区建设总公司在1993年中国500家建筑企业评价中的排名:中国500家最大经营规模建筑业企业第8名;中国500家最佳经济效益建筑业企业第4名;建设部系统25家最大经营规模建筑业企业第3名;建设部系统25家最佳经济效益建筑业企业第7名,赫赫战功,换来一项项殊荣。浦东新区建设总公司的声名由此可见一斑。1994年,是上海"三年大变样"的决定性的一年,也是浦东新区建设总公司实现历史性跨越的一年。在这一年里,公司抓住机遇,深化改革,加强以总承包为中心的各项管理,进一步转换内部经营机制,积极探索现代企业制度建设。
Shanghai Municipal Pudong New District Construction General Corpora- tion was awarded the 8th position a- mong the top 500 construction enterpris- es with largest operation scale in our country,the 4th position among the top 500 construction enterprises (second grade enterprises) with best economic benefit in our country,3rd position a- mong the 25 construction enterprises with largest operation scale in the de- partments under Ministry of Construc- tion,7th position among the 25 con- struction enterprises with best economic benefit under-Ministry of Construction during the Chinese 500 construction en- terprises evaluation in China in 1993.In 1994,the corporation completed work- ing volume of construction and installa- tion of 960 million yuan,increasing by 24.6 per cent compared with that in 1993,the general corporation realized the departments profit of 41 million yuan with the main body's profit of 5.05 mil- lion yuan,increasing by 36.7 per cent and 102 per cent respectively compared with that in 1993.The turn-key pro- jects in the general corporation had no major injury or death accident.'Chuan Sha Building' and 'Golden Bridge Inter- change' projects won 1994 Year- Round White Yulan Magnolia Prize.The general Corporation was awarded the' 1993-1994 Year Civilized Unit in Pudong New District' and 'Shanghai Municipal 1993-1994 Year Civilized U- nit'.
