不知从什么时候起,中国的交通便成为令政府和百姓头痛的事情。特别是年年春运,南来北往,人山人海,成为20世纪末中国历史上一道沉重而无奈的风景线。如果说交通紧张的直接原因是交通线路不足的话,那么,隐藏在背后的深层次原因则是管理体制严重滞后,如"老牛拉破车",在交通线上缓慢爬行,还喘着粗气。福建省联运总公司就是这样一家打破旧的管理体制,走出困境,创造了一个又一个辉煌业绩的企业。公司1993年扭亏为盈,创利润50万元;1994年创利润近100万元;职工的生活有较大改善,生活福利待遇有所提高,业务范围由单一的省内运输向省外扩展。福建省联运总公司于1993年5月28日成立,是福建省经济贸易委员会直属企业,现有职工280人,拥有铁路集装箱、航空代理、海运、房地产、贸易、粮油、出租车等12家子公司。

Since its establishment,the cor- poration has made rapid develop- ment.Now it has 16 enterprises and combined enterprises affiliated.It al- so has the specialized motor exhibi- tion and marketing centre with largest scale in Southern China--Xiamen Guangyu Motor Exhibition Centre with an area of 3,200 square metres.The deluxe centre can exhibit and market more than 70 varied kinds of motors at the same time.
