摘要
"学以致用"本不是新提法,可现在许多大学教师课时量不满,专长不能充分发挥,理论仍然脱离实际,同时也难以培养出实践中急需的有用人才。福建经济管理干部学院针对这一情况,积极探索新形势下的办学方针,走出了一条新路子,从众多的成人高校中脱颖而出。该院根据市场经济的特点和企业的需求,新开设了国际商务、工业外贸、计算器与信息管理、工商行政管理4个专业,继续在松溪县举办会计专业半脱产班,从全省各大中型骨干企业中招收学员。
Fujian Institute of Economic Management(FIEM)is located in Jin- shan Culture District,Fuzhou.It is embraced by scenic surroundings, Built on hillside,it overlooks east to Min river and west to Oolong river. The academic programs of the institute are mainly supported by five departments and one research unit:the Department of Industrial Econo- my,the Department of Commerce,the Department of Politics and laws, the Department of Training and Development,the Department of Basic Courses,and the research unit for Management Science. The institute is now staffed with 120 full-time faculty,including 30 professors and associate professors,and 44 lectures.In addition,the institute has invited more than 20 professors,specialists and experi- enced executives at home and abroad to be part-time or guest profes- sors.The teaching body is well structured and covers almost every aca- demic field in management.The institute now has an enrollment up to 1300 studeuts.The institute has a building area of 32000 sq.m which is equipped with library,video--audio lab,computer center,accountant training room.Its library holds 120000 books and 500 kinds of magazines concerning different fields of management.
