1886年,一名叫约翰·潘伯顿的美国人,在乔治亚州亚特兰大市自家后院发明了一种糖浆,到附近的雅各药房出售。他的会计员罗拔逊是一个古典书法家,为潘伯顿所发明的饮料,起了一个响亮又易记的名字"Coca-Cola",并用美观的字体写了出来,沿用至今。1888年,商人约瑟·甘度拉买下了所有配方,5年内使之风狂席卷全美,并逐渐成为世界级饮品。1927年,"可口可乐"传入中国,上海可口可乐装瓶厂名噪一时,解放后却消声匿迹。1979年,随中国开放,"可口可乐"经香港送至中国,成为开放之后最先到达中国的国际消费品。现在上海出现一家"可口可乐"专业生产厂,成为"可口可乐"的中国之家.这便是中国粮油食品进出口公司浦江饮料厂。浦江饮料厂的生产设备全部由国外引进,目前拥有罐装、瓶装、塑料瓶生产线。罐、瓶装生产线每分钟可灌装500罐瓶,年产量达4万吨。建厂5年为国家创造产值近3亿元,创利税5千万元,创外汇3千万元。为保拳头产品、世界名牌,饮料厂采取一整套科学管理方法、先进的工艺及精密的检测手段生产"
Pujiang Drink Plant was jointly invested by the Cinese Cerea,Oil and Foodstuff Im port and Export General Corporation and Shanghai Municipal Foodstuff Import and Ex- port Corporation.It is a special drink plant for canned Coco Cola which was put into normal operation in November 7,1987 and is the state grade two enterprise in the depart- ments under the Ministry of Foreign Econom- ic Relations and Trade. Its productive equipment are all import- ed from the abroad.At present,it has pro duction lines for can packing,bottle packing and plastic bottle packing.Its annual produc tive capacity amounts to 40,000 ton,its an- nual output value amounts to nearly 300 mil lion yuan with profit and tax of 50 million yuan and exchange earnings of 30 million yuan.
