摘要 The polarographic adsorptive complex wave of rare earths (RE) with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoylpyrazoione-5 (PMBP) was studied in HAc-NaAc medium at pH=3.80. In the singlesweep polarography, the reduction potential of complex wave (-1.16V) is more negative than that of the free ligand. (-1.12V), and the wave was proven to be an adsorptive complex wave by cyclic voltammetry method. This experiment proved that only the complexes of heavy RE ions can be adsorbed on the electrode under the same conditions. So it is a good method to determine heavy rare earths in the presence of light rare earths.
