Theories That Deserve Careful Perusal and Practical Application in Lively interpretation of Literary Works

本文简略地介绍了俄国形式主义和英美新批评派在中国文学研究上的运用。笔者认为，这两派的方法是研究中国文学入门的方法。这样，可以训练学生自动地去独立思考，使他们不必依靠前人的评论去绎解文学作品，进而打破那阵陈相因的死框框。

In this paper are briefly introduced the theories of Russian formism and Anglo-American New Criticism as well as their application in Chinese literary studies. It is pointed out that their methodologies are the ABC of Chinese literary studies to be imparted to students so that they can form automatically the habit of thinking independently while interpreting literary works without resorting to commemtaries offered by predecessors, thereby breaking away from set routines.
