商务版《大学英语》教程词汇的定量研究

A Quantitative Study of the Occurrence of Words in College English

本文以计算机为工具对北大编的商务版《大学英语》教材的词汇作了定量统计，用实验的方法研究了该教材的生词分布状况，全面地分析了统计数据，公布了研究结果，并透过生词这一重要窗口。

This paper introduces a computerized approach to quantitative studies of theoccurrence of words in College English,a four--copy series of course book compiled by PekingUniversity for English majors at basic stage. An analysis is made of the statistical results ofits new word distribution so as to review the series from the angle of vocabulary. It also discusses some problems important to teaching material compilation.
