摘要
It is necessary and important to study the mechanism of liver cancer progressionin order to prevent and treat the liver cancer. In 1988, we reported that there areseven oncogenes overexpressed in human primary liver cancer, and one of them isIGF-Ⅱ. After that we further discovered that IGF-Ⅱ and its receptor (IGF-ⅡR) areboth overexpressed simultaneously in liver cancer and cancer adjacent non-tumor livertissues. This suggests that IGF-Ⅱ might be involved in liver cancer progression
